Class information

Primary dancers ages 3-4 are provided with half hour classes. It is best to keep these classes short as young ones attention spans only last for a short period of time. We at CDA also keep the class sizes to a maximum of 8 per class!

Recreational dancers ages 4 and up are placed in 45 min classes. If a dancer decides to take more than one class the prices of each class decreases as you add more to your package. We do our best CDA to keep prices as low as possible so that children who have a love for dance can take more than one class. Please call or drop by the studio for current program prices.

Competitive dancers must first audition or be chosen. CDA Competitive dancers must take 2 ballet classes per week; however, only one costume will be required for recital. NEW Stretch & Strength class, aka technique class, will also be implemented, the annual competitive production routine will be choreographed in this class, as well as all competitive routines reviewed close to competition time. This is an important class. With these 3 classes, this is the minimum requirement to be a competitive dancer. Students wishing to compete in Acro, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, etc. must specify on their registration form. NEW this year, Small groups will be chosen from the technique class, and a minimal choreography fee will apply. 15 lessons will be given. It is the responsibility of the small group to keep up with the choreography and practice alone and as a small group. Large groups will be put together based on interest.
